About
About Joey AI
Joey AI is a dog health app that keeps your dog's records, reminders and AI symptom triage in one place. It helps you understand what you are seeing, decide how soon to see a vet, and arrive at appointments prepared.
Joey AI is not a licensed veterinarian. Our app and guides give general information and triage, not diagnoses. If your dog seems very unwell, contact a vet or an emergency animal hospital straight away.
Who runs Joey AI
Joey AI is operated by Lumenix AI Labs Private Limited, Kashipur, Uttarakhand, India. The website is meetjoeyai.com and the web app is at app.meetjoeyai.com.

How we write our guides
Our dog health guides answer the questions owners ask most. This is how each one is made:
- Drafted with AI, approved by a person. An AI model writes the first draft. A person on the Joey AI team reads and edits it, and only then approves it to go live. No guide is published without that approval. The byline "Reviewed by the Joey AI team" means this check.
- Exact sources. Each guide lists the specific articles it is based on, from sources such as VCA Animal Hospitals, the Merck Veterinary Manual, the ASPCA, the PDSA, the Royal Veterinary College (RVC) and the AVMA. We link to the article itself, not a home page.
- No dose numbers. Guides never give medicine doses. Only a vet who has examined your dog should decide a dose.
- Current first-aid advice. Emergency steps follow current published veterinary first-aid advice, and every guide tells you when to see a vet.
- A short answer first. Each guide opens with a quick answer of 60 words or fewer, then the detail.
- Dated. The date at the top of a guide is when it was last updated and reviewed.
New guides meet all of these from the start. We are bringing our earlier guides up to the same standard now, and each one's date changes when it is updated.
